Neighborhoods 1st
The Neighborhoods 1st program allows our neighborhood to engage with local government and community building efforts. We will work in a partnership with the City of Hagerstown to plan neighborhood events and projects. This program will allow residents the opportunity to meet their neighbors and communicate with City staff. The program would allocate $1,000 for our Neighborhoods 1st group. Director Bianca McKenzie has taken the lead on this program for our community.
Our neighborhood was adopted by this program on April 27, 2017. $1,000 has been allotted to our community to be spent by June 30, 2017. Our planned projects include a dumpster to be utilized during our community yard sale, and a block party.
